its just like. he acts like some kind of queer savior bc he was one of freddies closest friends and is like one of the main ppl who have 2 preserve his legacy and he thinks hes doing queer ppl a big favor or smthn??? idk how to describe it but like. dude u dont get to tell the queer community how to feel abt the shitty representation they got in the movie u produced. thats not your right?? and maybe instead of being rude and defensive towards people who address u, one of their idols, with valid & polite concerns abt this film u should acknowledge how they feel bc THAT is whats important. how queer (specifically gay) ppl feel abt their representation in a film abt one of the biggest gay icons Ever is whats important. not whether ur dumbass movie is “the most successful biopic in history”. newsflash!! commercial success =/= a job well done in portraying someones identity & life & journey & in representing the community that looks up to them
