This week I would like to write on the subject of being A “Player”. I grew up in a society where it was honorable to have multiple women. I have even heard men brag about there collection of “baby mamas” they possess. Sadly we got it all wrong.

I have had many lovers and I regret that I have caused so much pain through my promiscuity. In the glorious days of youthful vigor it is difficult to decipher your erroneous mistakes. The truth is quality trumps quantity. A mans nature is never satisfied with what he has, no matter how great it is. The conqueror in us desires more. However a strong man masters his desires. My grandfather once told me this pertaining to my infidelity “why go for hamburgers when you got steak at home?” At the time the words went over my head, but they are forever in my heart.

My father was a selfish player and that is probably the reason he is and always has been estranged to me. A mans number one commitment should be to his children and to keep his family together. I never had children because i never intended on marrying the women i laid with. I remained responsible in not planting a seed with just anyone, because I do not want my child to have to endure the things i did.

Never the less I am far from the perfect. In my immature mind I thought I had to tell women what they wanted to hear so they could physically be with me. My experiences have shown me this is not true. Save the lies, the heartbreak, the sneaking around, deleting messages and just try being honest with her. I know right? Aint no way! Trust me though it works. She will appreciate, respect, and admire you more because the majority of men are “running game”, AKA -lying. Your honesty will be a breath of fresh air to her.

A relationship built on lies will perish. Be real, be genuine, “keep it trill” for real and watch how you stand out. A man among-st little boys.

Of course being honest will mostly work with new relationships deciding to be honest in an existing relationship that you have been dishonest in could back fire, so you have to make a decision. If you love her, really love her; then man up and be the man that she deserves. Just dragging her along will tire her out, eventually until the day she leaves or worse she starts playing the same game you have been playing. If you love her but you are not ready to stop being a player, love her enough to let her go, put her out of the misery. The longer you hold on, the deeper the wound. Once you lose her trust, your loving relationship will never be the same, If you want a healthy relationship never hurt her or be unfaithful. The marks of infidelity imbibe themselves deep and will always be an unpleasant reminder in your relationship of your transgressions.

My advice to all the “players”, that life is overrated too build a castle you need one solid foundation,a bunch of shaky cement blocks will not hold. Being a player destroys the family unit, which is part of Satan plot. To steal, kill, and destroy.” “We are more then conquerors, we are the head and not the tail.”

Remember the empty feeling you have after you lay with a stranger. Now remember the warmth and contentment you experience after laying with the one who has your heart. Which one can you not live without? Choose wisely, nothing last forever. Playa!
