I’ve recently been researching art nouveau houses in Australia... Australia had houses in the late 1890′s - early 1900′s which were called “Federation houses”. The houses were built in certain styles (Queen Anne/Arts & Crafts etc.) and were popular during the Edwardian time period. For some of these Federation style houses, there are art nouveau interiors inside of them! And some have even survived this whole time. I still have a lot to learn about this subject but it’s so cool to find out about them.... So here are some images from a great article on the subject. And some more pics of interiors.
