With procrastination, colour theory and a lot of love, I finally finished @color-palettes July pallet challenge yippee!
For context, deer in Celtic mythology are considered otherworldly beings and are often associated with pure beings (gods and goddesses) so that’s why the deer (Màthair Nàdur) is in the middle and in my fantasy world lore she’s said to come from an unknown universe from far away and is the creator of the land that all living beings live on (and are surrounded by 4 cervini (cervinus in singular) which are the antlered creatures surrounding Màthair Nàdur, cervini are known to be deer like beasts that somehow resemble the feilus catus, the things that makes cervini stand out from regular house cats is that they have taller and stronger legs, have more aerodynamic bodies, slimmer tail, have dark markings on specific parts of their bodies and in some cases, wings. You might be wondering. Why do they have to be deer like hybrids with cats out of all animals? We’ll have to look back into the symbolism once more to find our answer. Cats are known to have mysterious features in Celtic mythology but we’re focusing more on the description of being tied to magic, otherworldly beings and hidden wisdom and in my lore Màthair Nàdur created these rare deer cats to share its teachings and knowledge to others for the greater good to provide balance so when you put it all together it all starts to make sense.
