Poultry farmers share a common concern: production efficiency. Be it a breeder, broiler, or layer bird, achieving optimum production is a common goal the poultry farmer has for them all, and it can be achieved only with optimum health. As expected, there is a positive and strong correlation between the health of the bird and the nutrition it gets. Poultry nutrition has proved to affect the quality of eggs in layers, meat in broilers, and the health of chicks in breeders. Studies have shown that delay in laying time may also indicate nutritional deficiency in layers. The only option with poultry farmers is to meet these nutritional requirements through feed. The use of animal feed supplements, thus, becomes inevitable for improved poultry production.
