#feeding snake

@pokefan211 's and my corn snake, (Sn)Edward, graduated to a new feed size this week! This is his second one, which was roughly half the size of the first. He'd eat himself to death if we let him!

Successfully feed day! Cecil ate is f/t m.ouse so I'll try to offer a r.at but if he doesn't take I can alwasy offer another mouse. Prince has been slamming f/t r.ats since may/june! Glad to see everyone excited to eat

hey, does anyone here have a snake?

and more importantly can you help me figure out what size rodent my guy should be eating?

I've had him since I was four and I'm trying to be a better pet owner 😞

Oh! We moved the whole apartment around Monday and both snakes still ate Wednesday! I think small r.ats are helping both of them eat consistently. Once these run out I will get Prince some Mediums to vary diet and I want to get q.uail at some point

Cecil ate his first r.at since going off food in December! I am so glad!! And despite being super wobbly while striking he got the head and ate super quick !!

Prince took is r.at no problem again today! Cecil is still unsure about r.ats so I'm thawing him a m.ouse. I might get some small rats at expo and see if they're better for Cecil? I think is wobble has gotten worse so bigger prey is harder for him to strike

Cecil ate his live m.ouse today! I think if I can get a mini pack of frozen m.ice I should be able to switch him back to r.ats? I'm just glad he took super enthusiastically and was on his hot side
