I’ve been struggling to get the kids excited to try new foods lately...I don’t want to force them. But baby K is getting to the age where the others started getting picky. She is noticing what they eat and wants some of their food...so if she and I are eating grilled chicken and salad while they have Mac n cheese... . Well, I’m determined to at least TRY to do things differently with her! . Part of that includes encouraging the kids to try new things. I gave them a TON of food ideas to pick from — literally everything I could think of that we like but they don’t eat. They each chose 10 things to try 3 times. . H was sooo smart. He chose things he kiiiinda likes already. Like he loves raspberries stuffed w chocolate chips so he chose plain raspberries. And his picks are all things he’s liked in the past. So just 2 days in, he’s checked a few boxes and it’s felt super rewarding for him. He’s so proud!! . Poor M. Like why she chose broccoli and bell peppers etc instead of the other options...she so badly wants to say she likes those things but then can’t bring herself to try them 🤦🏼♀️😭. It’s almost funny but you feel for her! I’m gonna suggest she rethink a few of her choices this wknd 😜. I do love how hard she worked to glue her choices down 😍 . #feedingpickytoddlers #feedingpickyeaters #trynewthings #trynewfoods https://www.instagram.com/p/CK5TNzrFpBt/?igshid=70cx0qh7e6lf
