Ok ok, so, love the Gem!Reader, it should be used more often, but ON WITH THE CONCEPT
Gem!Reader, who still cares deeply (and will keep caring until the end) about Robert, and tries to spend as much time as she can with him, until one day, either herself, Robert, or Chase sugests that she can work at SDN, due to her various abilities and experience
And that's my thoughts on how Gem!Reader got on SDN :D
And also how Sonar will keep on fawning over her and bothering Robert :)

I can fully imagine Chase would bring it up first. He had babysat Robert ALOT when he was a kid and when he was TrackStar he’s seen first hand how efficient and organised she is. All those files in the back? Set her free in there and she’ll have it alphabetised by the end of the day with stickers.
I also don’t think Robert would be to against honesty! He knows when he’s at work she’s basically just sitting at home when the chores are done and he always feels bad thinking of her just sitting alone in that barebones apartment.
Oh hun, she would be so happy to join. She’d make routine checks in on Robert and Chase (and beefy cause no one can resist the baby) to drop of food and drinks, massage their shoulders etc. girly is on it and she’s thriving again

Chase is inbetween encouraging this bs and also being like “for the love of fucking god stop making HR violations like it’s the Olympics and your going for platinum”
Bros hitting the “oh man my shoulders have beeeen hurting-oh man I’d loooooove a massage” while side eyeing Gem!reader who’s actively loosening Robert’s cause he had complained ONCE about some tightness
This is literally Sonar trying so hard to crack Robert’s mom
Robert lowkey makes him suffer by sending him on the harder jobs and by keeping Gem!Reader busy with him instead. All he has to do is say “hey mama?” And Gem!Reader is GONE from whatever she was doing to check on him
