I love these Donald Duck comic book covers, especially from Italy, where our heroes are shown in spacesuits. Here's Scrooge McDuck and Gyro Gearloose in spacesuits in space fishing. I'd love to see something like this in the DT17 version with Donald, Della, Huey, Dewey and Louie and Webby and the rest of the characters in spacesuits as astronauts. 😁

Hi! Could you maybe elaborate a bit on the whole Bechdel Test situation? All I get after re-watching that minute a couple of times is Dan misunderstanding the Bechdel Test, Phil correcting him, and Dan getting a bit flustered for having gotten it wrong, no "heartbreaking reaction" :/ I'm honestly not seeing 'Dan is out as a trans woman with Phil so comfortably that it bleeds into public appearances' like you seem to view the situation.

I had a dream that one of the Fenton's (false) theories about ghosts was that all ghosts were vengeful.

Meaning, all ghosts had a specific grudge against someone or something, which is what made them ghosts and tied them to our world. And the only way they could move on was if the ghost avenged their death and destroyed or killed whatever or whoever it was. (Or if someone else avenged their death for them.)

The Fentons tied it into why ghosts had to be destroyed, because according to them, they were all potential killers looking to fulfill their grudge. Or at the very least, if they weren’t focused on a person, they still wanted to cause destruction.

In the dream there were a bunch of Caper High kids on their social media theorizing about what Phantom's grudge might be and if they could help him with his revenge, lol.

i’ve been backlogging a bit.

and while i don’t quite feel up to talking to anyone yet

i do want to say one thing in regards to everything happening.

i think

that no one should be held above the consequences for their actions. 

no one is exempt to this. 

no matter what they’ve done, no matter what they intend to do, how remorseful they are, that doesn’t matter. you take the actions, there will be a price to pay.

however.

i don’t think that this price should ever include their life

i don’t care about how justified it might be. i honestly don’t. really, truly, deeply.

i made a post in the past about chances. about how some people will never want to change. how it takes them wanting to change for that to happen, and about how they have to ultimately be the ones to decide if they will or not.

and i think from what i could read

that monarch deserves the chance to learn from their mistakes.

that they should not have to pay for their actions with their life.

and that fae does not deserve to have monarch torn from them for good.

i know this probably isn’t going to be a very popular opinion to have. maybe people will think that it’s too middle of the road

but i don’t really care.

this is the stance i have. i’m sticking firm to it.

there’s worth in showing mercy. always.
