Flake interview 1990

It’s amusing to watch Flake get flustered during interviews. When asked, "What is the difference—especially regarding nightlife—between East and West Berlin?" Flake freezes, looking shy: "I can't say for sure, because I don't intend to visit West Berlin nightclubs—I have no plans to do so. In the East, you have to enjoy life; it was a lot of fun there." 😅

Do you like punk? No, you definitely won't see me into that. Why not? I don't like it... So much for Flake being a punk 😉

Feeling B - Tschaka

On the left is Paul Landers, on the right is Rainer Lorenz, who played saxophone in various bands during the Feeling B era.

He describes the photo this way:

"...it was in Poland, during Feeling B's first tour. It's amazing how developed the music scene was back then and the opportunities it offered to creative people. There were festivals of all kinds: Jarocin, Robreggae in Warsaw with top international stars from London, Jamaica, and elsewhere—all in one tent... Five breaths, and you're already slightly tipsy 😵‍💫, to put it politely... 😊 There was no insurance, but we had a great time in the Ello (Robur truck), a former Gasag (power plant) company car, completely different from today's luxury tour buses. (Singer) Aljosha was sitting on his chicken vodka 😊diet".
