Paradin’ Round The Prado (8.13.19)
Hola, es mi, tu hermana, Beezlita. Today was El Prado day!! Yay! This is Danni’s favorite museum of all time. It’s got everything! Raphael, Rubens, Ribera, Rembrant, and the R’s! Also Velasquez and all his Meninas. Don’t forget our fave Goya and his spooky paintings. Also! No pictures allowed! Hah ha ha... Hmm... We accidentally took some before we knew that though.
So we walked on over to the museum and waited in line to get inside! While out there, we saw our friend Goya!
It was real easy to get inside and then we zipp zopped around the museum all day. We had a nice lunch, did a lot of drawing, got some coffee, and saw a bunch of good stuff!!
We also ate our spanish peaches and can I just tell you, THEY WERE THE BEST PEACHES I’VE EVER HAD. Like sweeter than the canned stuff, juicier than anything back home, yummier than any peach you’ve ever seen. Ugh! I love being in a country that grows more things than sheep and potatoes!!!

Back to the museum. My favorite was the Velasquez room! Turns out, the painting everyone says is the best painting, actually is the best painting. Las Meninas rules. We’ll be doing an ep on her soon. Plus there is a very funny painting in there of a fat horse.
We love the Prado! It’s very fun and very tiring.
After the museum, we decided we needed gelato! We found some fancy stuff that was very good. Then we went back home and watched Fruits Baskets all night long!
