Happy Contestshipping Day 2025!!!! 🌹❤️💚
Drew trying to explode Team Rocket in his debut ep is so funny to me. he literally says that he isn't sure what's going on but he just wants to help, despite spending the entire episode trying to get a rise out of May (and succeeding). "are they bothering you, queen?" asks the guy who was just intentionally bothering her
always very funny to me when ye olde high school AUs have the boys on, like, the football team or something. Drew is a theater kid who runs a 15-minute mile with an inhaler in his back pocket and Defying Gravity stuck in his head, Gary called out sick so he could study for his SAT while eating a cup of ramen in his pajamas, and Ash- actually no, Ash would totally love gym class, but only on days where they got to play capture the flag or something, and he tries to stage a student uprising when he learns just how many people hate P.E.
I respect that people on here use text styles for important emphasis in long posts, but after a point, I cannot read a POST that LOOKS like this
what is munchlax even doing on the lucario movie cover😭
Do you guys want to see the first frame of the episode in which May discovers that contests are an actual possibility for her and that she might have a path ahead of her that she doesn't hate (because at this point in the show, she's only on her training journey to see the world, and not because she actually likes or cares about pokemon or training whatsoever)? Do we want to see the frame. Are we ready for the frame. before she finds her calling in life.
Again, for the episode in which she finds an actual passion, a goal, something to strive for; in which it clicks into place that maybe there's a version of pokemon training that she was made for and that she loves. I don't have a reaching-so-hard-I-dislocate-my-shoulder ship thinkpiece about this yet but I do think that it is INCREDIBLY NEAT that in AG013, All Things Bright and Beautifly, the episode in which she takes the first independent footsteps towards her future, they're quite literally taken under an arbor with roses on it. that's all
I love how everyone gets a cool pose and then Brock's just 🧍
I think that if a bug bites you then you should be able to bite it back but the world doesn’t work that way
