I'm super sensitive, and I cry easily. Not too easily, but when Im hurt I usually cry. I usually go to my Mom with problems, but I feel like when I cry I overwhelm her and stress her out, and I shouldn't tell her when/why I'm upset because I don't want to dump my problems on her. I try to not let things upset me or people hurt me, but I can only change so much. I'm not depressed or have any other things going on, I am a happy person, I guess just a cryer. Is that a bad thing?
Hey there!
Being a cryer isn’t a bad thing. We are all wired differently, so there’s no problem with you being sensitive. :) Don’t let yourself think that you’re being a burden. Your mom is your mom for a reason; she’s there for you no matter what. I’m sure that she likes when you come to her looking for advice or just someone to vent to. If you’re worried about making your mom feel overwhelmed, just ask her about it. That will get any worry or burdening feeling off of you and give you rest.
Be encouraged, because even Jesus cried (John 11:28-36.)
"Jesus wept." -John 11:35
When you start to feel overwhelmed about a situation, go right to God. Start seeking His face in prayer and pour your heart out to Him and he will give you rest! He truly will. Cry out to Him for peace and he will grant you peace.
I’m praying that God will ease your heart and give you rest in the midst of any situation that you face. You’re strong.
