(Feels AU) An AU where team RWBY are already close friends but one of them gets sick (anything from mild cold to full on going to die) and the others are trying to take care of them. The AU would take place in the room alone and the others would tell the one that is sick what is going on in the world.
Nice! This kind of setup is an easy way to address a lot of very personal dialogue between certain characters, or in general develop relationships between them.
On a lighter level (like a mild cold) we can see different character’s reactions to getting sick: someone like Blake would deny needing rest until she literally passes out standing up, while someone like Weiss might be much quicker to take it easy and wolf down meds until she got better. Additionally, who visits one character while sick in bed says a lot, and it’s an easy way to develop relationships ;)
On a much heavier note (near death or in critical condition) there’s a lot of potential for huge reveals or displays of emotion, a little like what we saw with Qrow in season 4. Depending on who’s present and who’s on the brink of death, anything from confessions of love to deep dark secrets can come out. And that’s always fun. ⭐️
