Today my husband, daughter & I went & bought a new handbag from Target & then filled it with brand new toiletries & sundries: Band aids, bodywash, shampoo & conditioner, soap+holder, loofah, pads, tampons, hairbrush+elastics, toothbrush+toothpaste, deodorant, moisturiser, jellybeans & some nail polish bought from the Good Price Pharmacy at Capalaba for ‘Sharing The Dignity’ to help women and girls in need. Drop off points are at Bunnings - we dropped ours at Capalaba Bunnings. It’s a small thing, but every little donation helps a woman or girl in need. I’m not posting this because I want a pat on the back for this small contribution, but to suggest that if you are in a position where you can donate a handbag of toiletries or just donate a few dollars, please do. Ok we usually don't make political statements or endorsements but today it's on my heart to do so. Come out tonight and support Clarkdale Police Department at their National Night Out. The boys will be grilling burgers @6pm at the gazebo. Bring the family, reJuice made 200 Gluten, Dairy, & Soy Free Ice Cream Sandwiches which will be given away and Nate's made 400 gluten and dairy FILLED Ice Cream Sandwiches. We spent over 20 hours collectively making these to donate because we love our little town!
