do you watch louis rossman on yt? he does a lot of videos on exposing apple's shitty business practices. also talks a lot about the right to repair movement in regards to electronics manufacturers withholding info and components for third party repair
yes! actually, he’s what inspired the post. i’ve been aware of him for a little while, but i didn’t start actually watching until this year. i was watching a video of his before going to bed and there was something that greatly upset me about such a brazen display of “apple care owns your ass” like with the SSD thing i addressed so heavy handedly and i woke up and just went like “today i’ll piss on apple”. i myself am an advocate for third party repair and open hardware and software if it wasn’t clear already with my butthurt stance on apple.
