presently feeling insane about the Act 1 banter between Shadowheart and Lae’zel that goes:

LZ: A vain notion. I am one of many and will not be a burden to my Queen.

And with Lae’zel being one of the companions Orin can kidnap…

Surely by then, she knows that she’s not just “one of many”—that her friends (and lover if applicable, by this time Her Joy) WILL come to help her, because it’s not a burden to need people sometimes, and because she isn’t alone in the world with nothing but her own heart of stone to rely on RIGHT!!

I really love using the :D emoticon bc the happy smiling mouth part is always a little off-centre compared to the eyes and that’s usually how i feel when i’m smiling like that: off-centre, lopsided, like yeah it’s me doing this and I’m glad to be doing it, but that doesn’t mean I don’t feel a little odd about doing it, y’know?
