For the past 4 years, your character Idarat Catlaz has been stuck in my head :Р I am a big fan of this one Sooooo I'd like to ask if u see Idarat interacting with any of the background characters. Like the ones on the train? С: cuz when I was playing act 2, I got the impression that his hate to lowbloods was forced you know to avoid attention to himself because he is limeblood. So I think he can be friends with someone with lowbloods. What do you think about this??? С:
Hi! It's been quite a long time since I last engaged with Hiveswap, so I don't know/remember any of the BG characters from Act 2. I only really remember the friendsim/troll call trolls.
That being said though, you're free to interpret him and his relationships as they pertain to Hiveswap however you want! I firmly believe that, once an OC of mine is in the public eye, anyone who becomes attached to them can do whatever they want with them (Short of commercial use, obvs LOL).
I will say that in his original concept (and the one that would be present in Abodebound had I made it to the trolls' introductions) was that his distaste for lowbloods was indeed a way to hide- As well as the influence the higher bloods he saddled up to had on him. To emphasize this, the contrast between his Hiveswap and Abodebound iterations was that in ADBD he is a lot less hemoist as the highblood he attached himself to for safety doesn't carry those sorts of views about lowbloods. But in Hiveswap, they never met, so Idarat is negatively influenced instead.
But, yeah! He can be friends with whoever you want him to be. He is The People's OC, y'know? lol
