His voice was weak, unsurprising given the circumstance. You didn’t need to ask what happened as you got there. You knew well enough once you gathered your thoughts to sit with him. It was basic highblood violence. Nothing new to him but you’d largely been shielded due to your moirail. Everyone knew not to fuck with you, of course, but Tavros Megido was a sitting honk beast. Worse actually, sometimes he seemed to have a target painted to his chest. You knew well enough when you put the strings together to get him help it was your connections you’d call for. Highblood connections.

The conclusion had been better than you’d both hoped for. You’d been set up in a cave for a perigee or two now while he adjusted to the prosthetics and whatever vile toxin he had to take to numb the pain. He slept most of the time and your undying anger had luckily not led to anyone knowing you were here. Well, the blues did. They had helped with food and kept you up to date on enough things. In dark points you suspected they knew who exactly had attacked Tavros. Oh, the jade you were designated to protect was here, flowers and gifts for him to help liven the place up while you wait. You try not to think hard on it though. Your thoughts are dark and your pain is hidden. You have a better thing for your dark thoughts now. The book your idiot ex left behind keeps your attention at all hours you’re not helping Tavros. You hear whispers every so often – you know they’re friendly though.

Your name is Feferi Nitram, and it’s time to make them fucking pay.
