The way Cringe Culture has negatively impacted fandom spaces needs to be studied. Of course, you have the old Animation Meme Cringe Compilations of the past (Which were just an excuse for grown adults to clown on children for the crime of making animations for people to enjoy btw), but it's still happening today. You like something like Dandy's World for example, and you get called a cornball for. Liking something that people think is cringey. The same happens to beginer artists. They get clowned on for having art not up for their standards. So many artists quit because of people being rude about their art. Most of these people are children and are nurodivergent in some way. The people doing the bullying are most likely grown adults and are not nurodivergent. These people most likely want an excuse to be ableist to kids and call them slurs. And the fact people defend this stuff makes me wanna rip my hair out. "Oh do what you want forever is a bad faith take!!" GOD FORBID SOMEONE WANT A WAY TO ENCOURAGE THEMSELF THAT THEY AREN'T BEING STUPID FOR DOING SOMETHING "Cringey". Most of the time, these kids aren't even doing anything problematic like fetishizing dark subject matters, they're just having fun. Please, block things you don't wanna see, and stop bullying innocent kids
