Our next Resplendent Hero for the Fire Emblem Heroes game is Deirdre: Lady of the Forest! 💜🦋

You probably guessed how I feel about this Resplendent Hero just with the title alone, but here's the 411 as always:

I'm in love with both the artwork and how well the thematic does match Deirdre, this is because she's sometimes portrayed with butterflies flying near her in her official artwork:

You can even notice a few of those in the special artwork! 🦋

That's one of the reasons why I feel the Dökkálfar thematic is a very solid match for her! There's also the color scheme, many shades of purple blend majestically in her new clothes and the wings, without the different contrasts being absolutely pleasant to admire.

And body language is also worth noting of course, continuing to show us how serene and gentle she is.

Overall, I don't feel there's anything off about all the art pieces, I'm overly comfortable with it all.

I rate the artwork: 10/10.

Reaction

The first word that comes to mind is "HYPE" in uppercase and large size (72pt?), I couldn't feel any happier than I'm about one of my favs in the series getting such an epic artwork, and I'm in absolute love with it.

It's not a stellar build I know, this isn't even half final actually, but I don't have much skills I can give her at the present.

However, I'm more than willing to give up a lot of fodder for her later on, once I get it.

As for appreciation talk, you might want to look forward to it later on, but put simply: best mom in the series, I love how calm yet caring she's, plus her rather angelical design.

always amazed at how some games microtransactions are objectively not worth it. Like I play fire emblem heroes on the regular but even if i wanted to spend money its so disproportionately priced. Why yes it is worth spending $4 to pull ONE character meanwhile events and login bonuses the past 3 months have given me enough summoning items to get well over 100 characters and i didnt put a cent in for that let alone more then 5 minutes of playing per day on days i actually play.  Dont get me started on the scam pass, for the low low price of $9 a month you get to do a FULL summoning session as a bonus (and a few extra items but nothing of consequence), some reskinned character, and a slight stat bonus to a character. I want to emphasize how little this impacts your progress in the game and how most of this is cosmetic and just bullshit priced. For 12 months of this you could buy two mainline games second hand which has far more content then what you get from the scam pass.  I am losing my mind at how obviously predatory these things are priced at, even at half the price i dont think any of it is worth it. Every so often i see deals and think “maybe they made it worth my while” but no its just enough items for maybe a stat boost or one summon for $15

I bought the FEH Pass just for this and I am glad I did

His outfit actually looks really nice with the summoner support background. I do like Aoji’s art but the intensity of this is more accurate to Leif as a character. His OG art emphasizes how young he is, tied with Roy for the youngest lord at only fifteen, but his resplendent reminds you even though he’s so young, he’s been through a lot before the game even starts. He may be a prince but he certainly hasn’t lived like it.

Also thought I’d pick up these guys while I have the Pass

I still don’t like the concept of FEH Pass and will be canceling it after getting Nino, but I admit I am enjoying it.
