Day 11: the Crew

What does your character think of their crew? Do they get along with all of them or do they want to throw certain people out the airlock? 

Feilinlei

Vette – She may as well be Fei’s adopted kid sister. The only reason she’s still a slave is because Fei knows that no one would dare touch the right-hand slave of the Emperor’s Wrath. 

Malavai Quinn – Hn. Her treacherous husband. Why does she still love him so much? *sigh* He has been dutiful since learning the error of his ways. Maybe emotions are the sort of thing you don’t just turn on and off. 

Jaesa Willsaam – Fei sees a lot of her circumstances in Jaesa. Not because they were in similar places.... but because she knows what it’s like to be moved around like a chess pawn. She can be very protective of both Jaesa and Vette. 

Lieutenant Pierce – You know... he’s not as disciplined as Malavai, but he gets the job done. He’s a very simple man with very simple processes.

Broonmark – ...hm. Well. He’s loyal and...passionate? Yeah. That’s it. Not always safe, but it’s not like she can’t handle him.

Day 8: Family

Lin’s birth mother is a Cathar by the name of Feisuulin. She has half sisters that are both older than her, Feilinlei, and Suulinmei. Suu was “kidnapped” not long after her birth, and Fei is the Emperor’s Wrath..... she recently reunited with Fei after winning her seat on the Dark Council. Her former master’s son, Xauluss, is also very close to her. She often relies on him like a brother. She is ridiculously fond of Ashara and Talos :3 She dotes on them when she can.

Day 20: Love & Lust

Oh boy. How does your character view love? Romance? Are they looking for a relationship or are they just content with a fling? What about their orientation? What about their first kiss or even their ‘first time’? What about their 'history’?

Do you want to die? o..o’ Ok. So. Orientation: Heterosexual. But, growing up the way she did, where her first concept of sex was that it was used as a reward for those who performed well, and it wasn’t something that was decided by the female counterpart....? That....that made her resistant to advances early on. There weren’t a lot of people she trusted before she got her own apprenticeship and the Fury, so... yeah. She was attracted to Malavai early on because sex was the least of his priorities. It made her feel like his opinions were always more trustworthy because he wasn’t angling for favors. So. He’s it now. Come what may.

Day 26: Choices

Everyone has to make choices. What are a few choices your character has made? What was the outcome? Did your character stick by their choice?

Well....she chose not to kill her treacherous husband.... That's a decision she stands by in spite of the fury and turmoil his actions caused.

Day 4: Morals

Even if they may get misplaced from time to time, everyone has morals. What are your character’s? Are they completely ‘by the book’? Do they have a line they would never ever cross? Are they ‘light side’, 'dark side’ or somewhere in the middle?

Fei gets no pleasure in exploiting or harming the weak. It’s honorless and usually provides gains to no one. She much prefers sharpening herself on stronger opponents. Like her sister, she’s pretty live-and-let-live. Unless given an order directly, she won’t harm people that are weaker than her. If she’s under attack and there are no other options, she’ll probably get triggered into wreaking some havoc, but... I mean, they were provoking her. That’s different. Battlefield rules apply. But she’ll always try to take a high road, even if it’s more difficult.  Alignment: Lawful Neutral.

Day 3: Personality

Let’s get into your character’s head for a bit and see what makes them tick. What’s their personality? Do they put on a front? What about flaws? Phobias? How do they view and treat others?

Fei...is really quiet when she is first around someone. She has some serious problems with her behavior and personality, mostly because she’s worried that she doesn’t have much of one. Somewhere between the tsundere and ‘a lighter shade of grey’ tropes, this girl tries really hard for the people that rely on her, but she can get triggered real easy. A bit of the snark knight is in here too, as she has high standards and is done with everyone... herself as well. The more she’s around a person, the more she opens up to them. She fully believes in relying on the people that are in her crew. Not to mention, she feels like they each bring amazing qualities to the team, and fitting her personality to them helps her soak up some of those traits. In an attempt to be adaptive she encourages certain types of behavior in everyone so that she can learn from them.

Day 2: Appearances

What does your character look like? Does your character like the way they look? Do they have any insecurity about how they look? How about things like scars?

Feilinlei

Fei trains incessantly to be in peak physical condition, and that much she likes. Everything else... she’s a bit dissatisfied with. She wishes her fur were darker or a different pattern/color, because the soft white and grays usually stick out. She doesn’t really care about her scars one way or the others. She thinks they add character. She has two on her face, one that goes across the bridge of her nose under her eyes, and another that meets the edge of that one and goes down over the corner or her mouth. Her other scares are on her back, and a few on her legs and arms (all from lashing).
