being a commuter sucks but it's still nice that i get to commute to an actual city for school that’s not the one i live in bc i can actually like BE MYSELF which is super great!!! both of the professors i had today are gay and are coincidentally married to each other lmao so it's awesome bc they're both super accepting and i love being in that type of environment. after my second class i asked my professor about odu's safespace program and he was so! excited! to tell me about it! he's on the committee and he literally walked me all the way across campus to meet up with the guy who's in charge of the program!!! i spent like half an hour talking to him and it was so great i'm so excited to volunteer and promote activism and the sponsor wants me to be on a student panel for a campus wide meeting for staff to learn more about lgbtqia+ issues! i love that i'm able to volunteer in an area that's super personal to me without familial repercussions now AND to top it off i'm making great connections with important staff (i.e. my second professor!) !!!

- been working a ton !!!! twelve hours a day is rough but pay is good so i don't mind - my feet are slowly disentegrating (read: work) - i picked out my classes for my first semester today & i'm super excited to start college - i met a comp sci professor today who reminded me of sheldon from big bang theory and it was horrifying
