If you're the type of person to go out of your way to tell someone "In the nicest way possible/No offense but [character design comparison to oc]" I want you to eat a shoe and re-evaluate your words because I can assure you. Literally no one would want to hear their blood sweat and tears be compared to pre-existing work. ESPECIALLY if that work is their literal sona.
Im finally old enough to buy my own shoes, and I can't even go to Payless. Wtf is this.
Just realized I never showed y’all the cat I got in February
He’s an old man and I love him Very Much :)
tips for learning a language (things i wish i knew before i started)
don’t be intimidated by foreign alphabets, embrace them. for me, learning the alphabet is actually one of the most fun parts of the learning experience.
learn to laugh at yourself because you are going to make a lot of mistakes. its all part of the fun.
take it easy. if you’re getting frustrated, take a quick break and just breathe. no one just learns an entire language overnight. work to the best of your ability but don’t overwork yourself.
learning a language isn’t just about memorising. learning a language is about learning to communicate, and you’ll need to form an understanding of the thought process behind the language in order to achieve fluency. this is not an overnight process. take it slow friends.
dont worry too much about pronunciation at the beginning. of course, pronunciation is important but don’t beat yourself up over not getting it right away. try your best but cut yourself some slack.
be proud of yourself! you’re taking the time to learn a completely new language! its tough, but you’re doing it! that in itself is admirable. so be proud of yourself and keep going!
TUMBLR WE MADE IT TO THE HOMOPHOBIC SIDE OF FANIMONSTA ON INSTAGRAM 😭😭😭
