Straight people being against queer rights is like men saying women shouldn't get an abortion and I stand by that. They both have no idea what they're talking about because it simply DOES NOT CONCERN THEM
at the risk of sounding like a dumb american i gotta speak my truth. the uk does NOT do lemonade right.
hot take monster was never that good

People have become so hostile and antisocial in the name of boundaries and self-protection.
As a woman I completely understand not wanting to be approached by random men that ignore the word NO, but I feel like sometimes people push it too far. I've seen videos by women telling men to NOT approach women in bars, clubs, coffee shops, etc. Like listen, I agree with not being approached while you are doing something like exercising in the gym or working, but back when I was single I absolutely wanted to be approached in bars, coffee shops, etc. These places are literally designed to be social (and no, obviously this doesn't apply if you went to the coffee shop to work) and you are making everyone afraid to do something that should be completely normal.
In general I hate videos that tell people to avoid starting some type of interaction, like that lady a while ago that said if you happen to be in the city of someone you know, you should not text them to hang out bc you don't know if they are busy and it puts too much pressure on them. Like I'm sorry but NO, the burden is on you to refuse if you don't wanna see the person, don't try to make everyone avoid doing something that could be potentially really positive for other people.
Another case of this was a guy on instagram saying that if you started talking with someone, you should not do stuff like tell them good morning every day or ask questions about their life. Like??? how tf are you supposed to build a connection with anyone then? Again, the burden is on YOU to say NO, not on everyone else to avoid being social and normal.
A lot of people making this type of content are probably paid by dating apps to make people reliant on them, or pushed by social media because it benefits from us being isolated.
I bring a sorta "you can acknowledge a system of oppression without perpetuatin it" vibe to the party that people don't really like
The “I guess you did trust us” of Phineas and Ferb could be compared to the Avengers: Endgame’s “on your left”
