One of my kinda hot takes is that I don't have any issues with the concept of a gender reveal party.

The way I see it, if it's just a harmless little get-together where you cut open a cake and see a color and hang with friends and celebrate your child, then no issues. From what I hear, gender reveal cakes are fun for bakers to make and yk being pregnant sounds like a horrible time it makes life easier to relax a bit.

If you react negatively to the gender of the kid or you let the kids gender influence how you treat them, that makes it wrong. And if you're doing something extreme for the reveal that causes harm, that's stupid.

But cake guys. Just order a cake. Cake is yummy. Parties with your friends are fun.

I recently noticed that a lot of shifters on here are against race changing because it’s “fetishizing whatever race they’re changing to”. But then you tell by their entire profile that they’re obsessed with Asians(typically just Koreans and Japanese people).
