Phil got a ??? while mining. What does this mean?????
Well... since there isn’t a specialized ??? mining scenario at the moment, have this:
While mining, Phillip gets caught in a random pitfall, and eventually lands in a dimly lit cavern. If he gets worried about not being able to leave, then there;s no need-- there is a path in the cave that leads to a stairwell that goes up to the higher floors, but before taking that route, he just may notice a cluster of Diamond [x3] (worth 15,000G altogether) along the cave wall.
It looks as though someone had just been in the middle of mining them, but stopped midway and wasn’t able to collect on their impressive haul... for whatever reason.
He has a choice here-- either leave the diamonds where they are, and leave the cavern with the jewels/ores he’s already collected... or he can attempt to take those diamonds for himself!
If he does decide to take the diamonds, he’ll have to fight a Grimoire Dragon (Boss Level) that just so happens to be inhabiting that part of the cave.
Use the Monster Hunting mechanics to determine the victor of this battle! If Phillip wins, he goes home with Diamond [x3], if the dragon wins.... well, better hope that someone finds him, or that he’s able to find a doctor...
Be sure to include proof of this fight in the post you make about it! It could either be in the form of a link or screenshot in a closed post, or in a google doc, or whatever way you feel like doing it!
I changed my mind. Phillip isn't going to wok on Oaktree farm. Instead, he's going to work at the Grand Oak Library.
