something I’m thinking about rn is Love Is Linda bc I was relistening to it and the lyrics are seemingly meant to be from Felix begging Linda to come back but then there’s the ‘the rabbit is starving’ bit, and Specifically ‘the rabbit is starving FOR YOU’ which like a lot of people obviously think of SuLinda, which makes sense but like the rest of the song is WRITTEN by Felix, which yeah it is a reference but these songs are still meant to be canon, which to me signals one of two options,
A.Felix is trying his hardest to imitate Susan and take over her role (which makes sense he’s erased all of the missing people’s existence ofc he would also steal their work) and knows Linda was in love with Susan (he could have also been trying to straight up use Linda’s love for Susan to get her back in Brighton? I don’t think this though)
B.Susan wrote the entire song as a way to kind of admit her love while taking a dig at Felix, with lines like ‘So Linda, tonight I’d love to see you dance and sing. Sobering, and clean, but it’s not right.’ Which is mocking Felix’s addiction, while admitting she is in love with Linda, describing herself wanting to see Linda dancing as ‘wrong’ because she’s married. (It could of course be Felix saying it’s wrong to dance with Linda after all of the horrible things he did to her.)
Another thing is the line ‘Two souls alive, fitting one for them both’ which is mentioning Edd and Molly’s death which could be from either one, Felix trying to rid himself of his guilt, but Susan could be mocking him for killing them and then trying to run from it.
