Experience the magic of summer in Felipe Galindo’s “Magic Realism in Kingsbridge” (2008) at the 231st Street (1) station, in which he seeks to uncover unexpected treasures of the neighborhood with surprising surreal scenes, such as the children at play beside a unicorn in the river, as seen in this panel. Felipe Galindo will be speaking about his artistic process tomorrow 6/20 at The Morris Jumel Mansion in conjunction with his current exhibition “Washington Takes Manhattan: Felipe Galindo Feggo’s New York Discoveries”.
