"Have you ever thought of studying Draconology in Tevinter? There's quite a bit of literature on the subject in the Imperium."

Oh, but of course! Tevinten studies on dragons has been an interest of mine for quite some time. In fact, I’ve tried to make contact with a few scholars in the Imperium, but my letters have never been replied to...I suppose they just forgot, non? The pursuit of knowledge is busy work, after all.

Ah, but I was able to get my hands on an old text, translated as well. If this is just what they knew back then, well, I wonder just how much has been discovered since.

Malik found himself sauntering through the gate to the village of Redcliffe, since someone was considerate enough to get rid of that pesky green glowing rift that had been blocking his entrance. Still, something seemed heavy about the village. And, much to his discomfort, he found himself surrounded by various mages that were loitering around the dirt roads. The more he ventured into the village center, the more troubling the whispers around him seemed. Words like ‘Tevinter’ and ‘magister’ were murmured in hushed tones. Those words seldom boded well, in Malik’s opinion.

“It’s as solemn as a Chantry sermon out there today.” The scruffy man said after he entered the tavern and sidled up to the bar. “Maybe because all these damned mages are milling about. They’re always with the doom and gloom.” He stated boldly, looking over to his left to see a man dressed in the colors of Tevinter standing beside him.

“No offense, mate.” Malik remarked, off hand. His tone conveyed that he meant not a word of the apology.

"It might seem surprising coming from me, but i'm quite fond of Orleasian poetry myself. It was used in my lessons before leaving for Orlais, in fact. It made those dreadfully boring hours a bit more bearable, let me tell you.*laughs*"

“Why should that surprise me, amicus? You have a clever mind and a discerning soul -- inexplicable fondness for mathematics notwithstanding. But there exists some very fine Orlesian poetry.”

Dorian leaned back in his chair, cupping his goblet between both hands, eyes going vague as he sought his memory. After a moment, he quoted, “Nos péchés sont têtus, nos repentirs sont lâches;/ Nous nous faisons payer grassement nos aveux,/ Et nous rentrons gaiement dans le chemin bourbeux,/  Croyant par de vils pleurs laver toutes nos taches.”

It was not the first time Aquinea saw the Alexius boy, but surely it’s been a long time since she saw him for the last time. It was hard to recognize Felix, he grew up pretty well, but he had this face so similar to his parent’s, so as soon as Lady Pavus’ blue eyes met his face, a gentle smile appeared on her lips.

                   “Oh my, Felix. You are                     no longer that boy I used                     to know, are you? You grew up.                     It’s good to see you again.”

She spoke, orlesian accent strong in her voice.
