“You’re a Jedi too?” Her lips pull upwards, and she sticks out her hand for him to take. “It’s great to meet you! I’m Rey.”

@weightofworlds ~ Catarina
Magnus was most likely late, he’d sent Catarina a text message saying he was headed over hours ago. Only to find himself taking a slow walk, his sunglasses taking most of the glare from the sun as his cat-eyes glint behind the darken rims.
He was far too restless, with too many variables unknown to him. Him! He always had an answer for everything & this experience in itself was nothing he had a console for. The reverse, yes, he could find a few words for any new downworlder that crossed his threshold, but this? This was a terrible joke no one should dare to tell.
Once reaching his darling Catarina’s door, Magnus leans against the doorframe. Lightly knocking against the wood as his cat-eyes take in his surroundings.

underfoot was what seemed to be a stuffed rabbit. it was trying to kick itself free, but to no avail.

“-- Captain. I’m just making coffee. You want in?”
@itsybitsyparker
“I would NOT touch that.”

“And who are you, exactly?”
@adler-thewoman
“It really is ridiculous,” He announces before she even enters the room, the scent of her perfume beating her to the punch, and spins the hat in his hands. “I don’t see the allure.”
Ebony hair billowed behind her, swept up by the salt-scented sea-breeze that followed her even in-land. It brought some semblance of life to the long, limp tresses that so often framed her face like dead coral. Pallid skin stretched too finely over hard, angular bone, drawing prominence to the rich red, tight-lipped smile. Hidden, her tongue dragged along a row of razor-edged teeth; their sharpness was deceptive, and far too often underestimated. Blood beaded to the surface, the sharp tang of iron soon mingling with salt on her taste-buds. Sea-foam eyes never left the one before her, as murky as the deepest depths of the ocean. “------ To approach me without tribute would be unwise,” spoke the Mother of Waves, and her voice, lilting and musical, was discordant in its sweetness. For a fleeting moment, she stood beautiful and regal, the fairest of maidens. Her smile widened, and the predatory flash of teeth saw the illusion die a swift death, her form shimmering and ever-changing, dangerous and alluring both.
