He was well aware of the Shepards’ uneasiness towards him. Yet, what had they to fear? It wasn’t like he would hurt them. That was the promise he had made with the Summoner after all. It made Grima chuckle mentally. How weak humans could be with their thin ties based solely on words alone.
Seeing a vessel with their free will just remind him of what would have happened if he had happened to fail in his world. How difficult it had been to defeat the mortals, how strong Robin and the others had been. Yet there they were, from an alternate world, and an ‘ally’ no less.
“You must have me confused with someone else. I personally would stay as far from you as I possibly could if I were allowed to. Alas, fate had decided we are to be allies, for now.” Despite the other actually following his order for once and keeping to themselves, his crimson gaze never left them. He wasn’t going to lower his guard that easily.

A small growl. Do they believe him? Not really, they know the Grima's loved to ' play ' with their vessel if their now original his or not. It isn't like there could be done much, bond by the Summoners contract it was impossible for either of them to harm one another. Physically.
However, why the summoner though it was a good idea stacking the two of them in the same team was another question altogether. But it definitely was better than putting him up with any of Shepherd's children.
„... Tactical bolt“ if they wouldn't happen to speak to Grima they would go on an explanation of how it seems to be similar to thoron in their own realm „... expect you're talking about Blárraven „ another tome they were handed. Consider that tactical blot and thoron were pretty similar. It makes more sense then Grima would ask for the tome he probably wasn't familiar with - it also seemed to have similarity with dark magic, which might explain the fell dragons fascination.
Not that this information would do much, he couldn't use tomes here, not that he needs them either really.
