Oh my god. My mother core idea makes sense because the corruption seems motherly in nature, having attachment to the egg and desiring others approval. Oddly wanting to have everyone like them and no desire to harm which is interesting nonetheless.
Bad is a protector no matter what. He doesn't have the heart to harm anyone he cares about, not willingly. While corrupted, he isn't evil. Just blank. I belive it comes from the past of being a angel, I still see angels as like a early season castiel. Blank, soldier like, and focused on their purpose.
The corruption is described as a hug, so very much maternal in a way- cradling the people it corrupts with a promise or a desire. I think my mother core au works as a way to morph c!bbh's history of caring, loving parental behavior mixed with the corruptions desire to both spread and grow.
Mother Miranda is seen as a holy figure, a motherly figure who understands and helps everyone who is with her.
