I love art. Looking at it. Buying it. Talking to people who make it. But it wasn’t until recently that I started to challenge a belief I’ve had for decades that I just didn’t have the talent to be creative and make my own art. Nor would I give myself the opportunity to be creative and try to create anything. Usually telling myself that I “should” be doing something else (working) more responsible and productive. I’ve been actively fighting those beliefs (sometime successfully, sometimes not).
