I need to get photos in my female green arrow costume. I've only worn it once. This was the first time I made leather armor pieces. I designed almost all of the patterns myself and made the costume in 5 days. The only things I didn't pattern were the undershirt and pants. I used a @cosplaymccalls pattern for those. The green tunic is made with the green suede fabric from @cosplayfabrics. So last weekend I went to Heroes & Villains Fan Fest and got to finally meet @stephenamell. . . Story time. . . I've wanted to meet Stephen Amell since Arrow started, but the last time he was in Portland I was deployed in the Middle East. My amazing mom got the autograph and photo on the top of the post in early 2015. Stephen Amell was kind enough to pose for a photo holding a picture of me in uniform even though because of time he wasn't taking pictures at his signing table. This kind act meant so much to me while I was over seas. I knew I had to meet him the next time he came to town. That chance finally came around last weekend and I just had to make a female green arrow costume to go with the photo opp. Getting to finally meet this amazing actor and see his genuine kindness towards his fans in person was incredible. My entire day was made by just getting to have a short conversation with him. It just took about 2 years to happen. . . . It's a huge bonus to know an actor you admire is also an amazing human being. Keep being awesome Stephen Amell!!!! . . .
