I think the first of his I read was Sirens of Titan. I was maybe... 12? I followed it up with God Bless You Mr. Rosewater and Slapstick Or Lonesome No More. No wonder I couldn't fucking relate to my peers after that. My tiny mind was blew. He's amazing, also my #1 guy, couldn't live without his books.

I think Sirens of Titan is his first book? So that would also be a good place to start haha. it’s also fantastic but the other three i’ve recommended, i’ve read maybe a hundred times combined.

God Bless You Mr. Rosewater is also a fav but i feel like i loved it because i kind of got introduced to Eliott Rosewater in Breakfast of Champions? he’s not there but his letter to Kilgore Trout is in it and it’s just so delightful that I loved then being able to read about him. I read that book seven years ago and still, the letter he writes to newborn babies has followed me around since then and will be in my heart forever. WHAT A GOOD
