The feminist action club is an inclusive safe(r) space on campus open to all students who care about issues of equity. This is a great place to gather, share experiences and ideas, socialize, and raise awareness.
University can be an alienating place that is much harder to navigate when you don’t see your experiences, histories, values or voice reflected in the curriculum, decision-making, or in the mainstream culture. The Feminist Action Club will look to break the social isolation that students face on campus through campaigns, socials, and services. All identities are welcome, needed and important to the club. We encourage Aboriginal students, International students, differently abled students, LGBTQ students, gender non-conforming students, People of Colour, etc to join and be heard.
