The thing about ao3 is it’s the freedom to write whatever you want. Yeah, you don’t like Fem!Luke but like? It’s not for you? I don’t like a lot of things published on ao3 ( certainly way more problematic than a gender swapped character) but it’s no one’s job to tell others what content they can make.
Dude what im saying is about how they characterize femluke, they completely erase his nature and replace it with some weak willed submissive personality. Yes luke is vulnerable too but his vulnerability comes with this fieriness. Majority of the femluke stories just erase that and make him a princess in need of saving. I would probably like it if they maintained his personality but they dont sooooo. Besides just use oc then? Cus oc's are justifiably distinct, without the need to try and force an image onto an already existing character. And how is it still lucemond when they rename luke as alysanne or lucerea? Kinda pointless to still say lucemond just because they maintain the dynamic.
