just a little rundown on the girls!
cherry-
cherry lives alone with her mom and sister. her mom tries to be there for her but she blames her for her dad leaving so she doesn’t talk to her a lot. the main reason she even stays home ever is to see her sister because she loves her a lot. they’re lowkey twins too. her mom works for a friend at like an office job of sorts??? cherry doesn’t really know what she does because she doesn’t care. cherry herself though does bartending at kook parties and stuff. she would work in a club but she’s too young so she upcharges kooks hella. she actually bartended raspberry’s birthday party since they used to be friends in elementary school. rafe and jj did not like that at all.
raspberry-
so raspberry is from a pretty rich family on the island. they’re close up there in terms of people who run things on figure 8. her dad runs a boat charter and her mom stages fancy homes that are being sold on the island. her parents are both kooks and they’re a very well liked family. they have very high morals and don’t get into the shady stuff. they also don’t care about class as much as some of the other kooks and while they don’t go out of their way to socialize with pogues they’re not going to be unnecessarily mean to them either. overall she comes from a very respectful and respected family on the island.
blueberry-
blueberry is a pogue but she’s not super poor. her dad is a manager at a restaurant on the cut which doesn’t get a lot of business because a. it’s on the cut and b. none of the pogues have money. her mom is a waitress at the same restaurant so they have enough to stay afloat but not like kiara. she has siblings too but they’re younger than her so she doesn’t spend much time at home because they’re lowkey annoying?
orange-
so orange is also a pogue. her dad left when she was a baby and her mom died when she was pretty young. she was raised by her brother and they have a really close relationship. he’s basically like her dad and he’s been raising her since she was like 7 and he was 14. they have a pretty small house they can barely pay for and her brother makes his money working on cars for people. her brothers girlfriend lives there too with her kid and orange babysits sometimes. she actually really likes the kid. she just does odd jobs like walking dogs or babysitting. since her brothers pretty busy all the time trying to make money she spends a lot of time with his girlfriend or with pope and his family.
