It's funny how we tell boys that the bravest and most masculine thing to do is oppress women and go along with the flow, when actually it takes a lot more bravery to stand up to it and stand out from the crowd.

I just learned that the first god we have record of was a woman. The first people worshipped a Goddess (all over the world no less) because women create life. And then when "civilization" came around women became the second sex because they were responsible for childcare. They're role in creating life, what made a Goddess, later made women the second sex.
