I cannot get enough of this 1961 Fender Concert. It sounded excellent before, and now that it has been serviced and tuned up by my amp tech @marshalllespaulfan it's just incredible!

The 1969 SG doesn't hurt the sound either... 😂

Ever since borrowing @tomgibson3783's 1966 #SuperReverb a few years ago I knew I loved the Fender 4 x 10 sound. I knew that someday I needed to acquire either a Super Reverb of my own, or its predecessor, the black Concert, or, even better, its predecessor...the illustrious Brown Concert, which I wanted most of all. My #FenderFriday couch noodling rig is set up and ready to go for the weekend, with the 1961 #Fender #Musicmaster & 1961 #FenderConcert. The morning sun in this really showing off the original Oxford speakers in this shot! I am totally obsessed with this amplifier...thanks again to my #amp tech @marshalllespaulfan for the tune up, including tube testing that revealed a couple of the tubes were not performing optimally. He rectified (no amp pun intended😂) the tube situation, replaced a couple of awkward looking modern resistors with more vintage-appropriate ones, and the amp now sounds even better than it did before!

Spotted last weekend - a 1961 #Fender Concert. . An early 60s brown #FenderConcert has always been a dream #amp of mine, but I have never actually played one. I believe this amp evolved in the blackpanel #SuperReverb but I'm not not how much the circuit changed. I do know I borrowed a 1966 Super Reverb for @tomgibson3783 once and it was the fattest sounding amp I ever played! Not sure how 10" speakers can pump out SO MUCH bass...but they do!
