More fun at @capsulemusic #Toronto with a pair of Limited Edition 2012 #Marshall #50thAnniversary 1 watt #amps. On the bottom is the #JTM1 “H” (for “head”. There was also a combo version - I even owned one for a while - it was very cool) which is a tribute to the 60s era #MarshallAmps. On top is a #JMP1 H, a tribute to the 70s era. They also did 80s, 90s, and 2000s tribute models in this series. These are so groovy and collectable. #fbf to May of 2017 when I went down to @theguitarshopca to buy the white knob 1963 #Fender #Princeton on the left and decided to grab a picture of that unbelievably beautiful #Marshall #Lead20 on the right. Little did I know I would decide to grab that Marshall 3 months later and it would turn out to be among my favourite #amps of all time. Trying out a new #attenuator- Carl’s Custom Guitars’ #SpeakerSoak - on loan from founding member of the #GuitarCollective, @tomgibson3783. However I won’t be trying it with this 1970 #Marshall #Lead20...its output transformer impedance is 16 ohms, while this attenuator is made for 8 ohms.
