if you’re looking for venatori tomes they are in the exalted plains - one down past the dalish, one in ghilan'nain’s grove and then one on the river bed, sadly not all venatori drop them and well if these don’t then…. you probably have a glitch…..

Thank you, that’s helpful. My problem is that I visit the different areas in a very strict order. Right now I have to go to the Western Approach / Adamant before I can go to the Exalted Plains. I would love to have the specialisation before entering the Fade, but if the venatori in the Forbidden Oasis / Western Approach refuse to drop tomes, I’m out of luck. 

But I’ll keep in mind who the guaranteed targets are. And I’ll whine less about it.

i’m gonna say kotor2 because even looking back none of the other games that are Important to me are quite as important as that one.

5. Name a game that that everyone else didn’t care for that you enjoyed.

it being said that i can’t remember a game which i did not enjoy - or a game which i haven’t heard complaints about, i’d say da2? because i enjoy it so utterly but i see it shittalked so much

8. Name an older game that would you most like to see redone on today’s technology.

morrowind, probably, because i do not particularly care about old games’ graphics or whatever, but somehow morrowind just ignores my sound settings for it and that makes it incredibly hard for me to play :/

10. Name a favorite obscure video game.

i’m gonna go with one which obscurity i’m very much sure of - prince of persia (2008). it’s not a particularly good game but i love it lots.

1. what is your inquisitor’s name & race?Her name is Ailyn and she’s an elf.

7. who is your inquisitor’s best friend? it’s a tie between dorian and cassandra.

16. when are they the happiest? when she practices her magic and when she’s with solas (extra happy when she’s practicing her magic with solas)

25. what is their favourite place within playable regions? the hissing wastes because she love the moon and the stars and that’s the best place to see them from and the emerald graves because despite its sad history, she feels closer to her people there

30. are they an optimist, a pessimist, or neutral? mostly neutral, even though she tends to be pessimistic from time to time

31. if varric wrote a book about your inquisitor, how would they feel about that?ailyn would def help him and they’d come up with the most unbelievable stuff together (varric: should i write about that time you killed the dragon? ailyn: yes, but say i did it naked)  

33. are they afraid of anything specifically? ailyn is afraid of letting down the people she cares about

39. if varric gave them a nickname, what would it be? probably “hopper” because she jumps around literally all the time. walking? nope no time for that. Is that a tree root? what do you mean i can walk over it? nope. I’ll jump. that’s my bed? yea watch me jump on it 500 times.

40. do they enjoy being the inquisitor?very much. ailyn likes being the one handling things. it gives her a sense of certainty. given the choice, she would not have chosen to be the inquisitor, but she is satisfied with the way things turned out, given the circumstances.
