i first roleplayed back in 2007 and man it was completely different to how it is now. i wouldn’t even know where to begin *shakes fist* back in my day things were simple

i feel u my friend, it’s not too hard a thing to gasp when you get going, i’ve done the whole [[ ✗;  f o r m a t t i n g ]]  thing before, i’m just entirely sick of it being a) the norm and b) a requirement, not to mention even if it isn’t obligatory plain text next to fancy stuff like always makes you feel TERRIBLE 

idk i feel like an old man shaking my fists at these damn kids with their confounded text editing-- but eh, you know, i miss, like, actually writing with people?? not spending 20 minutes making >200 words look pretty, no hard feelings to anyone that does but it’s not my jam
