i haven't caught up to what's posted yet and someone might've mentioned it before, but i find it so interesting (and subverting the expectations from the canon books) how everyone's so uncomfortable with bramblekit because of his looks, but he's actually incredibly shy and quiet, and meanwhile tawnykit is Right There who seems to act more like her father. at least for a kit, how she's so skeptical and almost stoic for a kitten at times, always narrowing her eyes at everything and seems to be so perceptive. i love her sm

I can't really get into detail on this, but I'll just say that people not paying attention to Tawnykit is very deliberate, and we'll be toying with that later down the line.

ok i have been watching ur art develop and grow for Years now we know this. something abt the little headshot sketches u drew i was staring at and all the different shapes n features n characters n silhouettes just made me really think like yeah that's dan's art. yeah. like it just Felt like it. just felt like all of your old styles kinda... like. in a way of Taking what you learned from each of them if that makes sense? like i can recognize little things that Remind me of your older stuff but in a good way. in a "that's from this specific person" kinda way. u are right, looking at it Does make me feel like this is Your Art. you've learned a lot and your style has grown with it but i can really tell ur letting it just kinda Come to u which i've always thought was the best way to develop a style -- drawing what comes naturally instead of changing to fit a box. anyways love watching u have a good time doing ur lil sketches to figure shit out keep it up !!!

i dont know if u remember me but god ur art has improved SO MUCH over the years.. whaddahell.. incredible.. (know that i tried to put so many periods but tumblr hates me so u only get two per line)

I do remember you!!! We were really good friends from the ask-blog community on tumblr!!! You’ve changed your blog name a bunch (sO HAVE I) but!!! I remember you started adding Fenris to your blog titles usually after your Dragon Age fandom days!! (I still remember watching the fenris videos you linked me, too, haha!)  It’s been a really long time, like, damn, super long! I hope you’re doing well!! And thank you so much! Your art has improved too, like!!! A crazy amount!!! (I still need to be taught how to draw cats by you one day because DAMN, the warrior cat fandom days had you purrfect that 👌 👌 👌 )
