Sneaking Away

When he was younger, he was born around the same time as Merrill, the next Keeper. It was around such a time that they thought they would be a good match. He loved the history of the Dalish and would learn what he could, no matter how much he slacked off during class. He would rather go Halla tipping or run off into the forest. It was more peaceful and far more accepting than anyone he had ever met. Except for perhaps Fennic. 

The other was quiet but they seemed to mesh perfectly. With every fault he had, his Dalish brother made up for it. Yes they both goofed around and sometimes got the wrath of the Keeper but they had fun. Of course they pushed him to go spend time with Merrill but tonight was a night for himself. Sneaking out of his tent and into Fennics, he stuck his head in. “Are you up? Wake up, Fennic. Come on.” He tried to whisper but make sure that no one else would stir from his voice. “Let’s go.” Tamlen tried again with a smile as he shook the tent.
