Fenqen
Fenqen | Mirkwood Elf | Tolkien OC
The Basics
Name: Fenqen Nickname: Fen Age: ~2000 Gender / Sex: Trans Man Sexuality: Pansexual (Masculine leaning) Fandom: Tolkien, specifically within The Hobbit & Lord of the Rings Appearance: Tall and slender. Fenqen is an elf with tanned skin and red hair. His eyes are a bright gold. As part of the Mirkwood guard, he dresses in their traditional garb. His hair is long and is either worn in a loose ponytail or braided back. His left arm is always covered, usually with a black glove (adjusted for archery). Underneath the glove, his arm is covered in scarring, but this is always bandaged over. Very few people have seen this and he is extremely defensive about the bandages.
Note: Fen does not have a faceclaim as I cannot find someone who can really capture what he looks like.
--
Fenqen is not a particularly friendly person. Most times, he is an elf of few words, though if he is around someone that he likes or has learned to trust, he opens up more. As he has not spent much time outside of Mirkwood, or around other races, he is far less trusting of races outside elves. He isn’t shoot first, ask questions later, but he does not approach strangers without at least one of his weapons readied. Or an escape plan.
Fen is a kind person, to those he likes, and is very easy to fluster. He does genuinely care about other people, but that is a very short list at the moment.
In his spare time, Fen usually has his nose in a scroll or book, or is seeking out more knowledge.

Verses
The Hobbit & LOTR: This is the main verse for Fen. See above for information regarding that. He resides in Mirkwood during the events of The Hobbit, and he ventures out from the forest after.
Dungeons & Dragons: (Fenqen Hajinye) As he is originally a D&D character, I will implement this verse for him. He is a High Elf Draconic Bloodline Sorcerer. His right arm is covered in bandages as well. Why will remain secret unless it comes up in roleplay!
More may come along.

OOC note: Fenqen is a D&D character that I have played for ~4 years. I’ve always wanted to creates a Tolkien-verse version of him so that is what this version of him is. Consequently though, I have to backtrack a lot of his development from when I first began playing him. So this version is very much the same as he was before he met his party in our D&D game.
I want to develop him and have him learn more about other people, and become less of a dick (lol). So even though he’s not friendly, go wild with approaching him. Put him through it.
