Morning Michael's War Status
Good morning, viewers; sleep-deprived Michael Adams here. We normally don't make broadcasts at this hour, but here I am, and here is the news. Wait, can we do that segment again? I could try to sound less tire- No? We're moving on? Okay, okay, single take, got it.
Alright, let me see here, so… Progress on the major order is steady, with Helldivers already accumulating 20% of the kill quota in a day's time. A majority of Helldivers have elected to take the fight to the Terminids, which is a safe bet when they come in such numerous, weak numbers in comparison to the Automatons. With four more days to go, this is looking to be a tight race, but one they can win.
Onto the progress of the broader war, the Automatons have taken Lesath just minutes ago, to minimal resistance. Everything must come at a cost, and the people on that planet were the cost of Super Earth's publicity stunt of a major order. On the other hand, SEAF liberated Erata Prime before moving onto Pandion XXIV. While they made significant progress, the bugs have now spread to Angel's Venture and Fenrir III. Will the Helldivers manage to redirect and focus their efforts onto Angel's Venture in time to save the SEAF training facility on its surface, or will it be overrun and leave us weaker for weeks to come? We can only hope for the best.
And in smaller news, we've intercepted today's personal order for the Helldivers, and it's certainly a flashy one. They're now on their way to confirming at least 200 kills with the Eagle 500kg Bomb. Super Earth clearly intends to make the beginning of this war as much of a spectacle as possible.
With the current news wrapped up, I need to find a bed and hope nothing important happens while I'm asleep. What? I forgot to say it? Oh, right.
Give 'em Hell, Divers!
