The last full moon had passed without anything happening, but that didn’t mean that Helia wasn’t going to prepare to the fullest for this one. She was writing down new spells on her phone, thinking about what the omens had brought them so far, and what might follow now. Was there anything that could explain the break-ins? 

She looked up confused when she saw Reza sitting on a bench outside of the hospital. Was he waiting for her? She put her phone away and walked up to the Witch. “Reza? Are you alright?” What if he was waiting here because he was too bull-headed to go into the hospital? She didn’t seen anything wrong with him, but still she asked the spirits to check him out for her. @adimuses​

LOCATION: police office TIMESTAMP: afternoon after the finding of Miguel’s body

A disapproved-of figure had appeared once again, after many years of having been missing. Though he had not been missed, and it would seem very few had any interest in his death other than it being the sixth since the summer. Why now? He wondered. But instead he thought of what this could mean for the students who had disappeared, and he hoped he would still be able to find those alive. 

He got second-hand information, which the police had to give him on account of officially working on the case, mostly as advisor, though perhaps not this case in particular. But he managed to wave his hand and say all the right things to get the details. 

He looked up when the victim’s nephew walked out of the room, scowl on his face, and set to follow, holding out a hand without pause. “Bodhi Mohan,” he said. He rarely went by Anmol, he had picked it only to find he liked Bodhi better. “I am sorry for your loss.” ( @adimuses​ - Reza )

LOCATION: Fenway Pool TIMESTAMP: Tuesday evening before the December Full Moon

Topher packed their things from work and left the public pool behind, the locking-up was done by someone else, someone who was more senior than them. But they didn’t go home right away, pulling the straps of their back-pack closer, they walked to the bike-parking, knowing that was where the first murder had happened. It had taken a while before people had come swimming again during the summer, but now it was like nothing happened. 

The place had changed for them, and probably for more as well, but who was going to put a memorial up in a biking parking lot. 

They kicked a can down into the grass, and looked up when they saw another person there. “It was already on the floor,” they defended themselves. ( @evanoraray​ )

LOCATION: Fenrir’s Wood Police Station TIMESTAMP: monday before the December Full Moon

Nothing like crime to pull old lovers together, and no place like Fenrir’s Wood to do it. 

Honestly, Nishant had not expected Joel to be working that day, or perhaps had hoped that he would be faced with one of the police officers like normal, instead he was looking right at his ex. And his whole body turned into a giant knot and he almost fell backwards - or perhaps he just was trying to escape - when their eyes met. 

Sure, he’d seen him plenty over the past years, since their dramatic break-up (which he had caused) back when they were seventeen. But this was... different. He didn’t like how he felt more and more guilty and insecure as the day slipped past. 

And damnit, they were here for murder, not for their bleeding hearts to beat on about this thing that swallowed up whole worlds between them. 

“The council send me to check things out,” he said, needing to move close enough to Joel so only he could hear him. Stupid council. ( @joelrojas​ )

LOCATION: The Mean Duck TIMESTAMP: Wednesday during lunch

Fenrir’s Wood had far more pubs and bars than it had coffee places, and while he had visited the Starbucks and the Nero not often enough for his liking, he knew it was the local places where he might find the stories he was after. And the place had an obsession with ducks for some reason, so why not go and see what one of those was like. 

He had wanted to enter the Little Duck, but it was closed, a break-in had happened there. So he entered the one next door instead, ordering a coffee and some gravy and potatoes for lunch, before sitting down at the bar. “You wouldn’t happen to know why this pub and the other two are all duck-obsessed, would you?” he asked. LOCATION: Duck’s pond TIMESTAMP: Tuesday before the December Full Moon

If time had told Bodhi anything, it was that full moon was usually the best moment to ensure he knew he could scratch the Supernatural off his list. Though he had known when he took the job that that wasn’t something he needed to do. The family was desperate, the police had tried for weeks to locate the three missing students in the forests surrounding the city. But they’d come up with nothing. No bodies, no hints, no tracks. 

As if the students had simply vanished from the face of the earth.

The whole problem wasn’t a new one for him, and he was certain he could solve it within the agreed time-frame. The students had disappeared the day of the Full Moon, wolves had been sighted by locals throughout the search on the first night, and since then it had been difficult to get the police to move and check out the whole forest. 

He took out the map of the area and returned to the path, calling out to the first person he saw. “Excuse me, this damned map has me lost, would you perhaps be able to either point me in the direction of the shrine of måne, or help me get there?”

LOCATION: little duck TIMESTAMP: monday, evening after the break-in

Nishant walked out from behind the bar straight at Evanora, looking at her a little confused as she seemed not to notice the police tape. Or maybe he’d cleaned away the tape already, he wasn’t sure. He had been sweeping the place because he didn’t want Chae to worry about the mess when he already had enough to worry about with insurance and such. 

“Hey, didn’t Chae message you that we’re closed for the day?” he asked. Probably the week as well, maybe longer, depending on how quickly they could get the door fixed. It was an old building, so it probably had to be hand made. ( @evanoraray )

Helia had only been told, not really experienced it herself, but the knowledge was enough, it meant there was something that she didn’t yet understand. She was however considering other things, her brain reaching for conclusions and options that she wouldn’t otherwise consider. She called Chae’s number first to ask him how he was doing, though soon as she saw his name on her phone, she changed her mind. 

“Hey Chae, thank you for coming,” she said, holding out a hand as she stood in front of the house in Fenway that belonged to a friend. They weren’t home, on vacation to the Alps, but they had asked her to check. “I’m sorry about the Little Duck, I hope everything was alright.” @oh-chung-ae​
