She’d woken up in more compromising situations, that was a given, but this was just plain weird.
Isabela found herself on a comfortable bed, surrounded by items that looked familiar, and some that were not. The room smelled clean, unlike her given room in the Hanged Man back in Kirkwall, and some of the other places she was used to staying in after a night of drinks and flirting. In fact, this was one of the best circumstances she’d woken up in that she wasn’t familiar with. Turning over to see if there was a fancy, good looking other in bed with her, a frown of disappointment flashed across her features as there lay no one there.
But disappointment soon turned into confusion as the magical box before her started speaking. Perhaps that guy was the one she’d be looking for-
Wait. Social experiment? So this room was to be hers?
Not that she was complaining much, though, there could be infinite amounts of treasures right before her very eyes, this magical box that spoke to her being one of them! However, she needed to get used to her surroundings. This place certainly wasn’t Kirkwall, it wasn’t even Thedas at this point! Swinging her legs around to slide off the side of the bed, she went to reach for her weapons, though what she thought were her weapons, only to find her beloved Heartbreaker and Backstabber replaced with wooden copies.
Heaving a heavy sigh after cursing breifly to herself, she placed the weapons on their place at her back, glancing around the room once more before leaving these set of apartments. Taking her sweet time to look at the huge buildings, the rogue couldn’t help but feel a little overwhelmed, and that was a feat for Isabela. Turning multiple corners, she tried to map things out in her mind, but only found herself working into a bigger confusion. However, on looking up from the road, a familiar face caught her eye.
“Fenris?” She questioned to herself more so, and as she drew closer, the recognition was starting to sink in. That broody pose, that demeanor. Yes, it had to be! Setting off at the slightest jog, relief filtered over her as she wrapped her arms around the elf, squeezing him slightly as she’d done so.
“Fenris! Thank Andraste and her underwear that you’re here!” Was the first thing she exclaimed with a chime to her voice. Hopefully the other was just as pleased to see her. Well, she could hope.
