hey, why not.
The adventures of Fenris having trouble with electronics 👌🏻😉
“See that, boys?” Hawke said and let out an excited laugh. “The evening sun, why?” Fenris asked with a dry voice. What’s so different about that? “Yes... Almost a time to stop some burglars and robbers!” Hawke blurted out and squatted down. “We should be ready, darlings”, Anders finally opened his mouth. “I don’t want Hawke to break his nose again.”
The Heroic trio of the Kirkwall Love those silly boyfriends... Hawke’s like a goddamn Spiderman-
For @damnedapostate ☺️ Breathtaking Kiss with Fenders~ hope you like it! ~~~ They weren't sure how exactly it ended up like this. Chest to chest, one hand on a cheek, another on a neck, and the other two holding on for dear life with lips a breath apart. They were panting, both of them, bloodied from the battle with every moment before replaying over and over in their heads. Their eyes met, and it was like they finally saw each other. --- It was only moments before that Anders noticed a rogue sneaking up behind Fenris, happened to notice the shiftiness of shadows and the glint of the dagger. His casting was quicker, it had to be, and he threw a protective shield that blew the rogue back. Once Fenris killed the warrior in front of him, he turned, frowning, only to find Anders locked in a battle with the rogue, throwing spell after spell. Lightning, fire, ice, and the rogue was dancing all around them and getting increasingly closer and closer to Anders. Knowing the mage would be useless close range, and since it was right at that point, Fenris moved quickly, making up his mind to thank Anders for the save by felling the rogue with a hand through his back. The battle was dwindling around them as the rogue falls to the ground, and Fenris was met with Anders staring at him, eyes wide and frantic. Neither of them were sure who moved first, but within a second, they were pressed against one another with hands fisted in robes and tunic and breath mingling between lips as they kissed, desperate and relieved. It was all the words they could never bring themselves to say, all the pride they both held dwindling, and all the pent up tension finally breaking through. It was mindless, and it felt like it lasted for an eternity, but when they finally broke apart, it wasn't long enough. When green eyes met amber, there was no longer any hate, no contempt, no frustration, only awe at themselves and the other. It almost didn't feel real, but the way their lips tingled and their hands ached with how hard they gripped the other, as if they would break away and run without a look back, they knew it was real. It did happen. And after several long, silent moments of understanding, their lips met once again.
For @ptsd-fenris who asked for an Unbreakable kiss with Fenders~ ~~~ Hawke left them alone, and it was a mistake. They had been drinking at the hanged man after a long day patrolling the streets-or rather, Hawke and Varric had been drinking. Anders never did, and Fenris didn't much like the taste of the watered down piss ale at the place, so he didn't drink much. But of course, Varric needed something, so Hawke trailed after him with booming laughter that should've shaken the foundation of the place. The air was tense, lots of things were said that neither Anders nor Fenris wanted to forget. So of course, as if unspoken, they both stand, stools scraping against the floor and turning heads as they marched their way outside, fists clenched and ready for a fight. Fenris is seething, Anders' words echoing in his mind and making his teeth bare in a sneer; /I'm just wondering how your master didn't kill you....Perhaps they should start making slaves tranquil... I can control it.../ Anders is the same, glowering angrily at the elf who clearly didn't understand, /I don't want to help them... Meredith is the only one holding back the madness in this city... Talk to Hawke about their mother, ask them who went too far.../ The both of them turned to face each other, anger and frustration clear as day on their faces. Anders is the first to break the silence. "What will it take to make you see sense! The mages here are oppressed, beaten, assaulted in so many ways-treated like the slave /you/ were and yet you /condone/ it?!" He growls, "How could you be so hypocritical?!" "And yet you do not see your own hypocrisy? Painting yourself the advocate for mage freedom when you are harboring a demon-one you cannot fully control, one you willingly accepted to merge with you-what everyone here fears most!" Fenris snarls back, "I have seen what mage freedom is and I cannot allow myself to want that!" He yells now, voice growing stronger, "You have suffered, yes, but you forget that I have as well, I have seen what it means to get what you want and it is a nightmare!" "I'm not asking for the Imperium-" Anders tries, hands thrown up in frustration but Fenris cuts him off. "You're asking for free reign for all mages! /That/ is what the Imperium is, /that/ is what causes mages to think they're all superior, /that/ is what causes blood magic and deals with demons and all those things you claim to be /against/ to happen!" Fenris is breathing heavily at this point, "I cannot believe-" "I can't believe /you/!" Anders snarls back, frowning and widening his eyes, "You turn a blind eye to the suffering right before you, take Karl-he did nothing wrong." "Other than write to and scheme with a known apostate-" "That shouldn't matter! I'm not talking about my suffering here Fenris! I'm talking about mages who are ripped from their families, and forced into prison camps that should be-" "And I wasn't taken from my family? Do you think slaves are allowed to stay with their parents?!" "Just /listen/ for once Fenris! I'm trying to save people from that kind of fate!" Anders yells, exasperated and starting to step closer to Fenris. "And in the process you're allowing more mages to fall susceptible to corruption, to go mad on the power they're given-" "And being absolutely terrified for your life and wellbeing is the alternative? Being treated like you are to be feared every second of every day, held at sword point, given overly strict rules and regulations that prevent you from living?! For something they cannot help?! No one deserves that, /no one/!" Anders' chest is heaving, but this time several moments pass before Fenris shakes his head, "You misunderstand, mage, it is not the treatment of the mages that I condone, but the fact that they are watched, carefully, tested, their magic contained-" "Do you know what the Harrowing is?" Anders mutters quietly, cutting him off, and he has to ask again before Fenris shakes his head, "You get no warning, you're shoved into a room absolutely filled with demons that you must either kill or outsmart to live. /That/ is their way of testing whether you can be corrupted by them." He scoffs slightly, "Far more mages die from their harrowing than survive, and even then, it is very rare that a mage is possessed from their harrowing." "That does not-" "The only mages that are possessed are those that asked for it. In some way or another." "But all those abominations-" "Were so terrified and pushed that they thought it was their only way out of the oppression from the damned Templars." "Surely they'd know they would die-" "You said it yourself, some things are worse than dying." They both fall quiet after that, breathing slowly calming as they finally let themselves /listen/. "You must know I will never be able to fight for total mage freedom." Fenris murmurs after several moments, shaking his head at Anders, "But I understand why you would fight." Anders blinks in surprise at that, stepping closer again until they were only a foot apart, "Fenris... what are you saying?" "Maybe, we're both wrong. The circle as it is, isn't the right choice, but neither is complete freedom for all mages." "The circle was meant to be a place for study, for the safety of mages, for them to find and pursue magic in a way that was safe for everyone." Anders murmurs quietly, "How it fell into this, now, I don't know..." "Then fix it." Fenris' voice is gruff, quiet, "Make it the way it's supposed to be. If anyone can do it, it's you-Maker knows you'll stop at nothing-" Fenris is cut off when he suddenly feels lips on his own, a gentle hand holding his cheek, and it's such a shock that he gasps against Anders, but doesn't pull away. He knows this is wrong, that this shouldn't be happening, not with /Anders/ of all people... but.... It only takes a moment, and Anders finds Fenris leaning into him, kissing back.

So I have a two page paper due tomorrow, but due to my sick and feverish mind being stuck on nothing but one Fenders scene, I had to write it. So, have some post-DA2 Fenders as they make their way to Avaar territory and free Anders from Justice (Please be advised this is very Justice critical). ENJOY!
Emergency Contact- Fenders
So I finally wrote some Fenders~ the glowy children are all that's on my mind lately and I needed to get it out in a little modern AU. I will definitely be writing more of these two! ~
Prologue
Summary: When a spell goes wrong, Fenris finds himself in a strange world. Rating: TBD (currently this chapter is PG)
Blinding light whipped out of the eluvian like a vengeful ribbon. The center of the floor where the symbols lay was now a gaping hole. The floor vanished, and wind shrieked around the room, tossing hair and clothes, dancing itself into a vortex.
"Back! Get back! It's trying to pull us in!" Hawke screamed, her hair whipping around her in the interior gale. "Merrill! What in Andraste's tits is going on?!"
"It's a gate! A gate opened. I didn't...This was beyond my expectations."
"Then close the fucking gate!" That was Anders, his voice booming even against the wind. Cracks of the Fade sundered his skin, and he deftly blocked all the snake like vines of light from grabbing him.
Fenris wasn't so lucky. He was closest to the tainted mirror when the ritual went awry. He slashed at the nearest power ribbon with his sword, sundering it, but the loose end whipped around and grabbed his knee. Fenris' muscles spasmed . He collapsed to the floor, sinews screaming, body convulsing. His vision stopped. There was only blackness, pain, and the roaring in his bones.
"FENRIS! FENRIS! GRAB HIM!" Whatever else Hawke yelled, Fenris couldn't hear. He was pulled into the Void.
Beep! Beep! Beep!
The bird was loud and insistent. If it didn't quiet soon, Fenris was going to murder it and present its body as a gift for Anders. The abomination mentioned needing new feathers for the monstrosity he called a pauldron, didn't he?
Beep! Beep! Beep!
With a snarl, Fenris snapped opened his eyes, tossed the blanket aside, and sat up— to an unfamiliar room.
He lay in a bed befitting a king. It was easily large enough to comfortably hold at least four large qunari, and he lay in the middle of it. Fenris ran his hand over the sheets, cool and smooth under his hands. This was certainly a change from what he was used to, one thin blanket on a straw pallet. The blanket crumpled over his thighs was heavy, thick and plush like rabbit fur. But it wasn’t rabbit fur, Fenris thought, for no rabbit had hair like this. Or perhaps it was rabbit fur, at least a dozen, no two dozen hides dyed a soft beige and sewn together so cleverly as to make the stitches invisible. Expensive. Rare. Clearly the owner of this bed was a person of wealth and means, if they could afford to slaughter so many well fed, exquisitely groomed rabbits for one blanket.
Or perhaps they slaughtered one enormous rabbit. That was possible, wasn’t it?
Fenris took in the rest of the bedroom. The walls were a soft, pale blue. A fire flickered merrily in a roughly hewn stone wall. The fire was separated from the room by a thin, perfect pane of glass. Fenris stared. There were no bubbles, no warping, no dashes of color to mar the crystalline purity of that pane of glass. Clearly magic. He would have to tread carefully.
In contrast to the eggshell delicate walls and the perfect glass, the ceiling was made of rough wooden timbers. Rustic, Fenris thought. Perhaps the owner grew up somewhere rough, like the Anderfels or Ferelden. Perhaps they wallowed in luxury but missed the wildness and simplicity of the country. But now Fenris wondered how he ended up in this bed with no memory of how he got there.
What was this place? Where was he? The last he remembered, he was at Merrill's. At Hawke's request, which was really a cross between blackmailing and begging. He and Anders helped the witch with a ritual. She claimed it would cleanse the eluvian, allowing her to finally pry open its secret. The damn fool. She knew not what she played with! It grew out of her control, and she was helpless to stop it. His lyrium markings flashed, and he felt a tug...then he woken up in a strange room.
Beep! Beep! Beep!
In his daze, Fenris forgot about the bird. He turned his head to the source of the noise, and found a rectangular box, blinking the numbers 10:15 followed by two unfamiliar symbols. Fenris frowned. He didn't understand the meaning of the strange box, but he knew he needed to turn off the sound. Gingerly, he reached out to touch the box, giving it a quick tap before snatching his hand back lest it hurt him. Nothing happened. The box bird continued to chirp. It was annoying. Fenris tapped it once more. Then again, this time firmer, but the contraption wouldn't stop. He pounded at it, first with his palm, then with a fist. Finally, out of frustration, he grabbed the black box and threw it against the wall.
Fenris sighed in relief at the blessed silence.
"Fenris? Is that you?" A voice came from downstairs. A familiar voice. "What are you still doing home? Aren't you supposed to be at work?" Fenris' ears twitched, trying to follow the voice in an attempt to place it. Who was it? Who was here with him?
"Hey, elf, I know you’re home! I made breakfast. If you're not down here in five minutes, I'm giving it to the cats!"
Anders! The blasted, annoying voice belonged to the mage. Fenris couldn't believe relief washed over him, but it did. He tore open the door, and raced downstairs toward the sound of the mage's voice. At least he wasn't alone.
And then stopped dead in his tracks when he found the mage naked except for a pair of smallclothes. Very form fitting smallclothes. With a caricature of a cat drawn on the front of them.
"Mornin', sleepyhead. What's up with the getup? White hair and cheap looking armor? Isn’t it a little too early for Satinalia?"
Too shocked and dumbfounded, Fenris had difficulty voicing his panic and confusion. He was busy staring at the cat. It was...bulging. "Anders, what's going on?" he asked at last, stringing together some coherent words to make a sentence.
There was a pause, before Anders answered with a laugh, "Oh Maker, I'm so glad you asked. I thought you'd forget, since you're a workaholic and all." He stuck his hands on his hips, accentuating his figure much to Fenris' distraction. "It's our anniversary."
"Anni...versary?"
Anders lifted his left hand and stuck out his ring finger. He wore a gold band around it. "Duh, dear husband, we're married. So what'd you get me?"

A/N: Thanks for checking this out! We’re just a couple of Fenders fans that wanted to work together to make a Fenders ask blog. In general, we’ll be splitting the blog into two fractions:
1) a story focused plot which is the above comic/story you see above
2) where people can send in asks and request. Doesn’t have to be related to the story above.
The members of this group takes turn answering asks, writing or drawing for them.
Please head on over to the “About and Rules” page for more info.
P.S. We’re actually still trying to think of a title for the story portion. So some suggestions would be welcomed!
P.P.S. Please check out the blog on desktop. Of if you use mobile or a tablet, choose “desktop view”. Lol you won’t regret it. Because it’ll be something like THIS you see
(The blog has since updated with a different floaty Anders).
